Trailer Watch: Polanski’s The Ghost Writer (US trailer)

Despite what you think actually happened between Polanski and an underage minor in 1977, and regardless of your opinion about Polanski skipping the country to avoid a prison term, you probably have watched and enjoyed many Polanski films over the years. Chinatown is a masterpiece, and together with the Pianist, are my favorites from Polanski, but he has an incredible history of filmmaking that begins in the 1950s and it would be a shame to lose this creative talent to prison (although certainly justifiable, based on his alleged crimes).

His new film The Ghost Writer stars Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan (an underrated talent). I could tell you more about it, but this trailer should be more than enough to grab your attention and make you want to see the movie. I can’t wait to see this.
